Other "Pet Food" Companies: Contracting With Killers

Georgia Institute of Technology

On July 30, 2002, Lydia Weathers, a laboratory technician with the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience, called the laboratory that we investigated because the cats whom the Institute had purchased from the lab had arrived in Atlanta without vaccination records.

We asked Georgia Tech how and why these cats are being used, but the school has not responded to our inquiry. Please ask the president of Georgia Tech to explain why his facility is experimenting on cats and urge him stop it immediately:
