ingredients on animals.
While AFB no longer uses the facility in question, it states, “[W]e
have found the use of laboratory animals the only truly viable alternative
at this time.” There are thousands of shelters and veterinary
clinics in the U.S. where AFB’s palatability ingredients could
be tested—benefiting animals in need and providing more accurate
results by removing the stress, terror, and fear that animals in laboratories
endure.
