What You Can Do: UPDATE

Thanks to everyone who wrote in behalf of the dogs and cats used in Menu Foods' cruel and unnecessary "nutritional" experiments; Menu Foods has stopped doing business with the contract laboratory in question.

Now we need your help in convincing Menu Foods, as well as the grocery stores and other buyers of its products, that the use of animals in any and all laboratories must end.

Please write the following grocery and other retail companies to demand that they buy dog and cat food for their private labels only from those suppliers that do not put cats and dogs in laboratory cages to test their foods. Suppliers like Menu Foods-and all manufacturers for that matter-can easily rely on laboratory analysis of formulas for nutritional composition and in-home palatability studies using dogs and cats whose human companions have volunteered them for such tests.
